We are open!

Sedgewick Library has re-opened, as of July 2nd, 2020!

We ask that you practice social distancing in the library and respect other patrons and staff. Our staff members will be using proper PPE equipment. Please sanitize at the station upon entering and only touch material that you intend to check out.

At this time:
  • Only three patrons in the library at one time. Children are allowed if they are with a parent/guardian
  • Please return books to the drop off box situated at the Wild Rose Co-op Grocery Store or in the outside box on the landing of the library. These books will be quarantined for 72 hours, wiped and shelved.
  • We will have one computer available for adult use only. This will be restricted to half hour intervals. Computer station will be sanitized after each use.

We are still offering curbside pickup and home delivery. Call us at 780-384-3003 if you have questions or in need of these services.

Learn about electricity and robotics!

This project introduces the Hummingbird Duo Robotics Kit. Students will learn the definition of a robot and tie this back to the motors, sensors, LEDs, and controller in the kit.

Students will work with these components and design a unique creation. This is presented to us by Red Deer College Red Hot Science. FREE. Grades 3 - 5.
